  1. You say in your intro you cut your hair shoulder length then you pull some back hair to your waist and grew it in 2 to 4 months? WOW that's what you need to share!

  2. Those Jamaican Mango & Lime black castor oils are NOT all natural i just shared a post in a natural hair group on facebook about this. I think ppl also discovered that the company is Asian owned.

  3. I use to follow your tips to the t for so long! I’ve been neglectful towards my hair now and I definitely see and feel the difference… You’re really one of few that I trust with hair advice.

  4. So just for clarification. You use the same oils as before, (your growth oil) but just a better quality…correct? So no new list? And how do you really determine which oils are the better ones? I look on Amazon and see a plethora of oils. I don’t want to overpay for less quality. Suggestions?

  5. If you are not mixed, you aren't period. Please be proud of who you are and where you are from.
There is nothing to "figure it out"
Most people assume that African slave descendants suppose to look the same. Gee imagine if every person in Asia looked the same.
The problem is people are influenced by what they see in the media. In Africa we have thousands of tribes that all have completely different facial features, hair types, nose shape, eye shape, heck there is a tribe that looks completely Chinese facial features in Africa. The white media call them "Bushman tribe".
All in all the worst thing you would do is go on these bogus websites for DNA and try to tell you what you are "Mixed with"
The only thing that DNA is telling you is who is your mother, your father or siblings. That's all.
It doesn't tell you where your grand parents comes from or his family came from.

  6. Your comment about hair stylist is not accurate. They ask that you come back within a certain time to help maintain your hair. There are a lot of people who only come in once a year for a trim. They generally only want to get 1/2 inch trimmed but may really need about 3 or more inches off because they waited to long. These same people never want to listen but yet expect their hair to be in it's best state afterwards. Not gonna happen.

  7. Although finding affordable good hair products is hard here, the best part of being Jamaican and being on my natural hair journey is just going into the market and buying real, thick blackk, stinky JBCO,the women make it and just put it in rum flask no processing and so on, just the real deal.

  8. I've been using the rooted treasure JBCO for a while now and IT IS AMAZING! I just went and ordered a 4oz bottle and the tote from their website. I let them know that you sent me. Maybe they'll send you product for give-aways or something. I don't know how that works but I do know that people are sleep on ROOTED TREASURE JBCO.
