  1. Wow I'm such a huge fan of your work!! Gonna show this to my husband who says to need protein for sports.. Thanks to you I finally find delicious recipes that are high in protein!

  2. Do you feel that even if you're consuming healthy and nutritious whole foods and the calories are over 2,000 that you could still maintain a healthy weight vs 2,000 + calories for a diet that is full of processed and unhealthy foods?

  3. I'm trying to eat more plant based but i feel like everyones always telling me i need a lot of protein and that carbs are "bad" so I struggle sometimes especially with everyone around me eating meat 🙁 but this gave me the little reassurance i needed thank you!

  4. Oh wow, all of these meals look AMAZING! I have to try the bean avocado toast and beans and sausage and rice ASAP! I never fail to consume enough fiber in the day, so it's pretty much a no-brainer for me!

  5. Unless you are a poor person living in a third world country, or are obsessively avoiding calories (eg anorexia or bulimia), protein should be the least of your worries! There are many famous olympic athletes and professional body builders who are vegan. If anything, what bothers me about the western worlds' diet is that most people eat little fiber, and they're eating foods devoid of minerals. People often do NOT eat enough fruit and vegetables; plus non-organic soils are supplemented with merely nitrogen, phosphorous, and potassium, which is not adequate for optimal health. Bromine can damage your thyroid; it is difficult to avoid and is found in many citrus flavoured soft drinks, flours, and medications. You need to ensure that your body has adequate iodine so that your body can make thyroid hormones and to counteract the effects of bromine (most soils tend to be deficient in iodine).
I am a vegan, so the only supplementation that I take is B12, iron (I only take this when I am on my periods), colloidal minerals (because I cannot afford 100% organic diet), iodine (or a large serving of seaweeds every week) and Vitamin D (because I don't like to sunbathe). I get my omega 3 mostly by eating raw seeds and activated raw nuts. My blood tests are all normal and I do not take any medications. Unlike my omnivore friends, I have no medical problems and I never experience joint pains or headaches! I never worry about protein because I eat more than enough calories each day.

  6. Hello I went on a vegan diet for 2 months. My hair was falling out by the hands full. I know I wasn't eating enough protein. I eat wheat and grain free also so it was a little tougher for me to prepare meals that didn't raise my blood sugar. Can I suggest some things that would fit in that criteria.

  7. I've been making your Red Beans & Rice recipe, since the first time I saw it on YouTube. I can't always find Vegan Sausage here, but with all the beans and wonderful flavor, they aren't necessary. I too, am a fool for avocado toast…and love the addition of chickpeas. I live on huge salads, during hot weather…..with the addition of whatever is in the fridge….Thumbs Up for these ideas!

  8. I love the song you picked for the dinner part. Could you please let me know what it is? Also, what could I use to replace the maple syrup in your lunch salad dressing? Thank you so much! ♥
