  1. To properly hard boil eggs: Put eggs in a pan and fill with cool water to cover eggs. Cover and bring to a boil. Turn the heat off immediately after they come to a boil. Leave covered for exactly 10 minutes. After ten minutes run under cold water. You will have perfect hard boiled eggs without green rimmed yolks.
